Rule 1. Don't talk about The Game Heroes.

Just kidding...

Basic Rules

Rule 1. Don't be a douchebag.

Rule 2. Respect your fellow forum members.

Rule 3. Please keep our forum environment old e-drama free. Pissing and moaning about things that happened almost three months ago makes you look like an obsessive whiny bitch.

Rule 4. Signatures must be 450 width x 250 height maximum. Any larger and it will be removed.

Rule 5. No alt accounts without express permission from an admin.

Rule 6. Please don't make Live Journal "emo" posts. Some things are okay to bring up if you want to, such as a death in the family, or a relationship breaking up. Don't do it just to 'vent', if you're going to do it, do it to inform your fellow forum users or to ask for advice or help. We don't need everyone having their own individual thread to discuss how much they hate mommy and daddy because they don't love you enough, etc.

Rule 7. Don't necro posts unless you have something WORTHWHILE or IMPORTANT to add. By worthwhile, we mean ADDING TO THE DISCUSSION. All and any necroing will still be reviewed by a mod/admin and passed judgment on, so be smart about necroing if you're going to do it.

Rule 8. DON'T TYPE IN FONT COLORS THAT ARE HARD TO READ!

Rule 9. The common sense rule is a lot like the douchebag rule. Don't do something that you even have a shadow of a doubt might get you into trouble. This means spam, offensive pictures, alt accounts, etc.

Remember, we have the right to warn/ban you regardless of whether or not the things at fault are specifically spelt out in these rules or not. A good rule of thumb is to simply ask yourself, before posting, "Is this post good for the community or adding something to the discussion?" if the answer is No, you should think twice before doing it.

The Warning System:

You will be issued a warning if you do something wrong, Warnings will expire 90 days after you earn them. If you get 3 warnings, then you're banned from the forums. You may appeal your warnings and it will be discussed amongst the administrators and moderators of this forum. Depending on the severity of your behavior, warnings are subjected to being skipped entirely and a straight out ban will be enforced. If you wish to become unbanned, depending on the severity of your actions, you may request your case to be reviewed. You may have your case reviewed once every 6 months. If we feel that you may have matured past whatever it was that got you banned, then your account will be reinstated.

The Report System:

Users are more than welcome to click the 'report' button in the lower right hand corner of a post.

Upon clicking on it, it will inform the mods/admins, and they will review the report and take proper actions if they deem proper action takes place. This doesn't mean that the user will even get a warning, it all depends on the severity of their actions. So, please, feel free to use the report button without feeling like you're getting someone banned, but also don't use the report button on tiny things and play 'wannabe mod'. Use your judgment.

Well honestly, I'd like to see some..well..actual rules.
Not just for the sake of the users but for the mods as well so there's less vague..ity..ness.

In my experience it iss generally better to have rules that allow for as little loose and subjective interpretation as possible. :roll:
