We have such awful Service Providers.

Their closest server seems to be in Finland.
With Bredbandskollen.se I get 91.29mbit/sec down and 65.05mbit/sec up from one of their servers that's more or less the same distance from me as the one speedtest uses. Im surprised at the huge difference in results. How reliable is speedtest.net if you don't live in a major city?

Edit: Tried with the server in Stockholm and got better results. My upload speed is still lacking though.

I've told my brother so many times that Sky Broadband sucks balls but he still won't change ISP =|

I absolutely HATE my isp, its the only game in town and they only got 1.5 meg connection nothing faster.

rumor has it comcast might be coming into the area and god I hope so, how sad is it when comcast is an upgrade?

I'm pretty sure it was the server that it was communicating with, not the ISP.

Overall, I haven't had any issues with it. I mean, consider that in my area, this is the cheapest per byte bandwidth. I'm very jealous of other countries where you have massive internet infrastructure and get ridiculous speeds.

Lousy Australian internet connections... at least I have a 500GB cap!
