Greatest year for hip hop since awhile...keep your ears out...especially in March...

Shaolin Vs Wu-Tang is coming out soon. I've been waiting patiently for it since Butter Knives dropped last year. Is it going to be good? Sounds kinda mediocre to me actually, which is surprising cause Raekwon's last album was tits.

Rumor has it that Dr Dre is finally releasing "Detox" this year. He already released a single with Eminem "I need a doctor" if you haven't listened to it yet do it.

Kinda agree that hip-hop has slowed down at least in the states. Some good albums have come out in the last couple years like KRS One & Buckshot's Survival Skills and the new Reflection Eternal album that I still haven't listened to a lot.

Most of the english language rap that I've listened to lately has been Cannibal Ox ever since I discovered it (thank you youtube)

Don't know much about this Reks dude but if it's produced by Dj Premier it pretty much cant suck.

As long as Li'l Wayne is around, hip-hop will be tied by the ankles with a ball and chain.

Yea I'm waiting on that too, Butter Knives is so sick, yea it's suppose to be kinda like a concept album, where half is like classic wu beats, while the other, rae is doing his own thing. Butter knives is sick, title track is ight, and i haven't listen to the rock and roll track he put out yet.



I wouldn't count on it...

Also when I say March, that's when a lot of hot albums are dropping...
