Robert Kirkman wrote a lot of the Marvel Team Up issues and had one wear Invincible entered the Marvel Universe via a portal and ended up teaming up with Spidey until he found a way back home. This was actually a crossover issue with a particular story arc in Invincible where Inivincible is fighting a villain who has the power to transport people to different times and dimensions. He sends Invincible through many, many, many different dimensions and after he escapes one certain dimension who see what appears to be webbing following after him before the portal closes. In this Marvel Team-Up we get to see what happened when Invincible entered the Marvel U.

It was a pretty funny issue because Invincible spent half the time making fun the heroes and their unoriginal names. After he learns that his name is Spider-Man because he has spider powers, he soon meets the New Avengers and says: "Well then you must be 'Flag Man' (Captain America), 'Claw Man' (Wolverine), 'Robot Man' (Iron Man) and 'Black Man' (Luke Cage)."

Luke Cage's reaction was priceless.
