It was a truly inspiring night for me as I watched CNN at an election party thrown by the American embassy. I'm looking forward to see what exactly will change.

I actually see him going through and living for the full term just on the fact that he is the FIRST non-Caucasian President. The secret service will be upping their security and be ever more vigilance because if he is assassinated on their watch it not only will reflect their negligence but project to the world that the "White man" still calls the shots (no pun intended) and America is just a country full of bigots that can commit atrocious acts towards non-Caucasians will get away with anything.

I was wondering the same thing while he gave his victory speech. When it was over he was just out there with his family and campaign mates. I was saying to myself please don't get shot please don't get shot.

I hate to admit it, but I was thinking the same thing.

I'd say that is because the assholes agenda is most likely along the same line as those who are extreme enough to actually go through with assassinations.

Still, Obama is not stupid, note that last night during his speech the was actually protected by Plexiglas from essentially all angles. He and his seem to be pretty well aware of the risks and will hopefully do everything in their power to ensure his safety. I really, really hope we are all wrong in our fears.

Which is pretty damn sad. I wish all the racist dumbfucks in this country would leave or just die off. They're part of what is holding this country back from evolving.

Well it really is sad for me in a way but it is more of a relief since I just got rid of a friend that finally showed their true colors by proclaiming that Obama has doomed the USA and will open the flood gates of immigration to let in the Mexicans and his fellow "terrorist".

This is really sad and I hope this mentality is dealt with and corrected. It is sad to see people run their mouth and spew nothing but the venom of ignorance and discrimination.

I am however thankful to rid myself of such a toxic personality and can only hope to surround myself with positive energy and optimistic mentalities.
