Oh no, you misunderstood my question; I've already analyzed and discussed that story several times and I've heard that interpretation. My question was on what page it's specifically mentioned that they were gay and or wanted to have sex with the angels?

So, how do you make "Know them" into "Have sex with them"?

It's actually known that the translation of "know them" meant to have relations with.

KH isn't Christian, but, I think the same idea is being made by you Beeslo. Not everybody has the same religious views as others, and religion needs to butt the fuck out of the government once and for all.

The problem with that and the US is that the constitution was pretty much based all upon Christian values.

Yeah, pretty much. But, it's been slowly evolving ever since. In the growing world of 'political correctness' I doubt we'll be worrying about gay marriages not being allowed 5 - 10 years from now.

Due to my religious beliefs, I do not really approve of it. However, I am not entirely against it. Basically, it is our human right to do as we please and for straight people to say gays can't marry is discrimination. It isn't okay to tell blacks to go to a different school or Mexicans to go back to Mexico, etc, etc, so how is it okay to tell gays they can't marry? The way I see it, if straights have the right to do it, by law, so should gays.

Therefore, although I may not approve of it, who am I to tell a gay they can't get married if I am allowed to do so?

To the point that a gay couple can not raise a child properly because it will turn out gay.

I am an Assistant Preschool Teacher, I had the pleasure of working with a twin boy and girl that were born to lesbian parents. Those parents were the most loving and the most involved parents in the whole school. Straight parents went to them for advice just because their love permeated the air. The kids at the school knew that they had 2 moms and they stood up for their moms. I have seen kids at that school whose parents don't give a shit about them, go to these moms for comfort and a hug. People always say that kids know best sometimes since they do not have biases and opinions and are venturing into what is right and wrong. In this case, these children are right and they just know whom to go to for comfort.

No, not marry. Being married is dealing with the church.

They should, however be able to share the benefits the government gives that comes through marriage. Domestic partnership is the best word for this.

I think if everyone just stopped calling it marriage and started calling it domestic partnership, all of this retarded "Gay's shouldn't marry!" bullshit would be over with because all of the religious nuts who feel that way won't have any reason to not want them to get a domestic partnership.

What you're saying is an interpretation of the bible to suit an agenda. It is by no means more likely that the men would want to have sex with the angels than it is that they would simply want to rob, beat, torture and/or kill them. I know the bible is painfully vague and certainly up to interpretation but I think that if God wanted to get the message through clearly he'd use less ambiguous language; Hell, they even use the term "lay with" in at least another part of the bible so why not use that and be consistent?
