Man I hadn't really seen a good random thing happen in wrestling in awhile. That is until what Triple H did 2 weeks ago on RAW. Breaking and entering into Randy Orton's house that was genius. What really did it for me was when he threw him out of his own window. XD

Damn, i really wanna like TNA but it's currently going downhill again. Things were kinda looking up when the Main Event Mafia was formed, Suicide coming in and them showcasing the young guys more and more.
Now the thing with the MEM has turned out pretty stupid. They just didn't wanna turn Sting heel for some reason, which imo would've been a good move and would've made his character more interesting again. And their opposition, the TNA Frontline, the originals failed miserably. I mean this was supposed to be a war but the young guys ended up losing every week so what's the point. In the end it's MEM fighting each other in the form of Angle vs Sting....instead of pushing AJ Styles and Samoa Joe to become champion, they let Sting handle it....lame. And now AJ wears the Legends Belt which means absolutely nothing and Samoa Joe is given a stupid gimmick and a new outfit, like he really needs it.....
But what the worst part about it is the PPVs. Destination X was probably one of the worst PPVs ever. The first 1 and a half hour just plain sucked. They had some ok matches but then they filled it up with pointless promos, like Shiek Bashir complaining not having a match, who's going to spend a night with ODB (worst segment EVER) and Brutus Magnus open challenge. My main complaint is that this stuff doesn't belong in a PPV, do it in the weekly show but not during a fucking PPV. And the biggest dissapointment of the night was Samoa Joe vs Steiner. That match had a good build up, we hadn't seen Joe in a few weeks and i was really looking forward to it and then....Joe gets DQ'd after 5 minutes....WHAT...THE...FUCK?!
It's sad, TNA needs to get their shit together, FIRE RUSSO, and start showcasing the younger guys and not some Booker T with a diva attitude and a Kevin Nash that injures himself the second he steps into a ring.

Wrestlemania 25 is not that appealing this year, for some reason. While Orton/Triple H ought to be good - I mean, the buildup ALONE has been intentionally hilarious, and I'm really not sure who to root for here...although I wish this feud involved the bloody BELT - and HBK/Taker will be epicness itself...the rest of the card has me going 'meh'.

Two of the three guys in the Cena/Edge/Show match aren't even doing it for the damn belt, but for the hands of ToadWoman herself, Vickie Guerrero. Even Cena realizes this, but it has led to some of his best promos in a while. Listening to him mock Edge and the Big Show for focusing on a woman who they wouldn't look at twice if she didn't have power while he focuses on winning the strap...it's been catharic. If this thing is meant to be amusing, well...fail. Epic snorkin' fail.

Jericho vs Steamboat, Snuka, and Piper will just be painful unless Ricky is hiding the fact that he can go again, especially since Snuka and Piper can't go. I really think this was a Plan D, once Rourke blew the lid too early and then backed out, and both Austin and Hogan were going to be out of the question for whatever reason (Austin is filming a movie with Stallone and Rourke, while Hogan just had back surgery).

MitB could be amusing. You have two big guys (Henry and Kane), some daredevils (Punk, Benjamin, Kingston), and...well, three other guys (Christian, MVP, and Finlay). Now, obviously Henry and Kane won't be winning this. Finlay is in simply because it means Hornswoggle can do something stupid. Punk shouldn't even be here considering the year he had (seriously, wth), and I can't see anyone except Christian or Punk winning this.

Matt vs Jeff Hardy has been done before. It sucked seven years ago, and while the match will definitely be up Jeff's alley, it might suck yet again.

JBL vs Mysterio will be a JBL match. Meh.

The Diva Battle Royal...um...

The Miz and John Morrison (who I have a creepy mancrush on) vs The Colons should be a good one, but...the tag division is a dead and buried joke these days, and even the Tag Title Unification won't save it unless they decide to take the division seriously from here on out.

And, a final thought...why is there no ECW Title Match? Seriously, that's kinda harsh if they don't think Swagger can have a good five-ten minute match at WM25, even as a "freeview" like they did last year with the #1 Contender Battle Royal.

Wow... I like your thinking... I agree with just about everything you said including the mancrush (Face it... Miz and Morrison are The Shiznite... Be Jealous!!!)... I will say that HBK vs Undertaker will be the match of the night... My money is still on HBK...

If anyone can break Taker's streak, I think it's Shawn. Match of the night to me is either going to be this or HHH/Orton. Those are the matches I'm looking forward to the most.

I really dont think HBK will be the one to take the takers streak, my logic is this, whoever beats the taker is going to be held in extreemly high regard there for they can use it as an opertunity to really put someone they wana give a hard push to over the top and make them the next big star, HBK is already about as big as you can get plus hes older and closing in on retirement, my money is on the taker for winning this, we probaly wont see the taker lose for another year or 2 and it will be to give the next big superstar a push, then he will retire.

If Takers streak will ever be broken, Shawn is the man to do it. If he doesn't i don't see the streak ever being broken...but i'm not sure who's gonna win...i guess Taker, not a big fan of HBK these days. Loved him when he was younger, cocky and funny. But he grew up, found god and just isn't the same.
Orton vs TripleH will definetly be match of the night. The matches these 2 had were always pretty good but this time it's Wrestlemania and they obviously have enough reasons to deliver a great fight...i really hope they make a no DQ match out of it.

But yeah the rest of WM is kinda meh...Edge, Cena, Show....hmmm, that whole Vickie Guerrero thing has gone too far. What makes me sick about it the most is the fact that Vickie was obviously Eddies wife and now they showcase her as a slut GM? That's how you honor Eddie and the Guerrero family? Also, Big Show just doesn't belong there. Yeah yeah, his large alright but that doesn't deserve the main event spot at Wrestlemania. Despite what many people say, i think Cena is a good wrestler, not the most techical but he's a brawler with a few good moves up his sleeve. Edge being the most talented guy overall in that match, but i feel that Edge and Cena has sooooooo many matches in the past...i'm not really that excited to see another chapter of the Cena/Edge saga.

God, sleeper of the night will most def. be Y2J vs the Legends. Like Drake already pointed out...they can't go anymore. They're old and out of shape. So why give them a spot at WM? Kinda ironic that in some way they prove Jericho's point. I mean i respect those guys but damn...it's been so many years and at one point you should know when it's time to leave it to the young guys. No problem with appearences of the Legends but don't put them in the ring at Wrestle freakin Mania.

Money in the bank will be the other highlight next to Orton-HHH. That match has been jaw dropping since they brought it in at WM 21. And with guys like Shelton Benjamin inside there, i just know we'll get some high-flying action at it's best!

I hope non of you caught the horror of this weeks ECW. It may only be an hour long and it's the last one before Wrestle mania. They could of fit more matches rather than just have 2 for the entire night. With the rest of the time filled in with nothing but promo's for Wrestle mania matches.

I have the feeling this Mania is gonna be meh as well. The obvious highlights are going to be:

HHH vs Orton
Money in the Bank
Taker vs HBK

I really hope HBK doesn't end the streak mostly because he retired Flair last year. If he was to end the streak it would just make him seem bigger than he really is. I don't know about anyone else but it really bothers me that Michaels has started calling himself "Mr. Wrestlemania" lately. He can call himself "The Show Stopper", "The Icon" hell he can even have "The Main Event" but "Mr. Wrestlemania"? Really? Out of his 14 Mania appearances he's lost 9. If anyone is Mr. Wrestlemania its Taker; plain and simple.

HHH and Orton has a pretty good set up and history behind it but I think the match is really going to come down to how well Trips can make Orton look because I really think Randy is only as good as his opponents make him. Put him up against a Triple H, Shawn Michaels, CM Punk and you've got a potential 5 star match. Put him with someone like Batista though and you should do yourself a favor and grab a pillow.

That leaves the MITB which I'm actually excited for. Punk, Kofi, Christian, Shelton and Finley can carry the rest of the dead weight in the match and you know Shelton's going to have his "big spot" at some point in the night.

And now for predictions for the hell of it:
-Legends over Jericho due to Flair interference leading to an embarrassing moment for Jericho
-Diva Battle Royal... Don't care... Let's just say Trish returns again and wins
-Punk wins MITB for the 2nd year in a row
-Taker over Michaels and moves on to 17-0
-Miz & Morrison take all the gold
-Matt over Jeff but this one could really go either way so I don't care
-JBL over Rey to be the first man to ever retain the IC at Mania
-Edge retains (cause we really need to stop passing that belt around every 3 weeks)
-Orton over HHH so Orton can keep his job.

and as an added bonus: everyone goes to the bathroom when Kid Rock takes the stage because no one cares anymore.

Wrestlemania Axess is in my town right now

It's awesome being able to see what is going on in Axess. Along with some matches as long as it doesn't turn out like ECW. Where it's nothing but Wrestlemania 25 promos.

Double posting but it's my thread so it's cool.

Wrestlmania 25 was really good this year. Despite being in the hometown where it was held. I couldn't attend since I didn't have money to buy my ticket's ahead of time. I still watched it in the comfort of my home with some friends. I have to say that the match of the night was HBK vs The Undertaker. This match had to be the most physically active one I have seen either wrestler in for awhile. The money in the bank match ending in what I didn't want to but it couldn't be helped. One match was never shown during Wrestlemania it was the unified tag team match.

It sucks that they didn't show it since I was expecting to see it but sadly nothing. Guess it was one of those matches like last year with the battle royal which Kane won. If I were to rate this years Wrestlemania I'd give it at 8 out of 10 not bad at all.

Go Mysteroker (He was the shit)!!!

I must say... HBK vs Taker was the match of the night as well... Out of all the matches, only 3 of them went the way I wanted... and only one of them I called...

Just as a warning I'm going to admit right now that I'm a smark; and a really bad one at that. So if it sounds like I'm over analyzing things and being harsh I just want to apologize now.

Mania was near perfect but those final two matches muddied up the rest for me. The triple threat was decent although I'm sick of the big gold belt being passed back and forth between Edge and Cena for the past few months just to pad their title wins.... But wtf happened with HHH and Orton? That match lost my attention the moment Orton hit the RKO less then a minute in and then H hit the pedigree right afterwards. Like who thought the pacing and finish to that match was a good idea? It did absolutely nothing good for either of them; instead it left Orton looking like H's bitch and leaves H looking bad because now not only does he have the McMahon's in his back pocket on tv, but he's got the gold too. He's only going to get stale by keeping the gold. Where the hell was Legacy? A few of my friends were predicting a McMahon to turn on H but I thought that wouldn't make any sense and I'm glad it didn't happen, but where the hell where Cody and Ted?!?!? Ok so enough with the bad, now the good.

Highlights:

-Money in the bank was a great start to Mania. I really dug the Bret Hart color scheme CM Punk was rocking and I was glad he was my pick and that he won. With that said though, props to Kofi for having the best spots of the match and outshined Shelton. A bunch of us marked out for Finley's entrance attire from WCW.

-Divas battle royal had the most predictable finish, but in a great way. I love the ridiculous Wrestlemania moments like these and I don't think I'll ever be about to forget Santino after tonight lol.

-Ricky Steamboat, you still have it sir! I assumed Ricky would carry the legends' weight, but Piper was taking bumps that I would never have expected from him. I was surprised though to see Jericho win clean over everyone. Although when I saw Mickey Rourke at ringside I kind of had a feeling that the whole thing was just to actually get him in the ring somehow.

-Matt And Jeff finally gave us the match they needed to give us which was all I would ever ask of them. Glad to see Matt go over which I think is a really smart move. But if Matt was to do anything with himself now would be it, but the draft is coming up which has killed more potential pushes than I can remember.

-JBL v Rey. Ok so I said JBL over Rey but before the match went on a friend said that this might be JBL's last Mania and they were in Houston. but the second I saw Rey in the Joker get up I switched my decision simply based on the fact that he was dressed like the Joker; and could you really blame me?

-Taker v Michaels. Wow....WOW!!! These guys tore the house down which was expected. Match of the night for me. These two were able to tell a story with their match and had everyone in the room on the edge of their seats and standing by the finish. I liked the fact that Taker didn't do anything special for an entrance to try and top HBK's (which I rolled my eyes at tbh). I get it Shawn, you found god... But you aren't the second coming so just stop cramming it down our throats. Glad to see the streak survive and while its asking a lot, I would love to see the Dead Man hit 20-0. Oddly enough half way through the match my friend Vinny said it would be sweet to see Shawn go for a moonsault and Taker catch him for the Tombstone; I shit you not folks.

-Edge v Show v Cena. Ok while I don't care for Cena at all I gotta give him some credit; that was his best Mania entrance ever with the old theme and clones..... And then the trumpets played and it was lost. The match was pretty paint by numbers but it wasn't aweful. We all got a laugh from Big Show doing the Andre spot and then when he yelled "ref, get me the hell out!" And then Cena won the world....AGAIN.... So much for prestige.

-Trips v Orton. All week I've had it in my head that H should just come out, no nonsense, no spitting, reach the ring, drop the belt and make a bee line for Randy... Well Trips comes out and I gotta say the mirror thing was cool (not Austin v Bret cool, but very close). And the second a guy handed him a water bottle I sighed a little cause I just thought they idea of him putting his back to Orton (even for a second) kind of kills they hype leading in. Strictly kayfabe here: if a guy beat up my family, assaulted my wife several times and kissed her while I had to watch him do it; I wouldn't bother with the typical water spit routine and I'd take the fight to him as soon as I lock eyes with him. But no then H continued to go to the corner and do his corner pose over Randy (again making him look superior). By the time the bell rung I found myself not even caring what was going on until Randy hit the RKO which all of us in unison shouted "already?!?" Only to be followed by more confusion for the pedigree shortly there after. It was like they wrote the match backwards. Another annoyance: the weird stipulations tied to the match which were as confusing as a late WCW Vince Russo match. We want to see HHH tear Orton apart and we can't? Not even at Mania? Not even with Vince backing HHH?!? Like WTF? So when Randy grabbed the sledge and the ref went down I thought "sweet this match is going to pick up and might live up to Taker Shawn just yet". 3 minutes later the match was over with a sledge shot from H and a pedigree.

All in all though I'd say it was a solid 8/10. It was a great show up until the very end, but I can't let that taint the solid work from everyone else on the card and it wouldn't be fair to expect a better match after HBK and Taker. This year topped last year though and that's always a good thing. I also am a little proud of myself that I was able to call most of the card (counting last second changes prior to the actual match starting). I was only wrong with the world title matches and Jericho (tag titles didn't air so they don't count <_< ) making me 5-3.

Only reason no one came out for Triple H or Orton. Was on the last minute changed right before the match started. With Vicky's change on the match making it a if Triple H DQ's he loses the title. Same for Orton if he DQ's he get's nothing so no Shane, Vince, Cody or Ted.

But see that's the problem with that match. With the ref down if H can use the sledge and get away with it then in the same logic then Orton could have gotten away with just as much.

Now I was in class for all of Raw today but I made it back in time to see the end and all I see is HHH, Shane, Vince and now Batista beating on Legacy. And now Randy is going to get fed to Batista at Backlash. Is it just me or has all of Legacy's push gone out the window? Ted and Cody have been reduced to cannon fodder with Randy sinking slowly with them.

I think Randy is still good out of the bunch. Ted and Cody could be put on the back burner since they really haven't had any matches recently. You might want to play hookie next Monday for the draft I wouldn't want to miss that if I were you.

Wish I could but too much is riding on the line; (gotta show a rough cut of my final film project). but I'm going to set the DVR for it though. Wish I set it for today 'cause I just heard Steamboat wrestled again.

Well it took me a while but i finally got to watch mania and now i finally gonna give my 2 cents about it.

Let's see...overall rating, i'd say a 8/10 aswell.

-Money in the bank...damn! They've raised the bar again. Kofi Kingston was the MVP of that match. Shelton Benjamin did some crazy stunts aswell, didn't expect anything else from him. Shelton is MitB! Mark Henry actually did ok. I was sad tho that Christian didn't win it...it would've been the push he deserves. Oh well let's hope the draft does something for him. And CM Punk winning it again? Meh,i like Punk but let's hope they think about a good storyline for him this time instead of just giving him the belt and having him wrestle people like JBL who wouldn't be considered as serious World Championship threats anyway.

-Diva Battle Royal....hmm. Santino is funny already but the whole thing still felt like a waste of time. They couldn't have a serious Diva match for the 25th anniversary of WM? How about champion vs champion? I was hoping for that when Maryse took a shot at Melina. Ah well.

-Y2J vs Legends...the big surprise. I wasn't expecting anything out of that match but hell. They did the right thing and got rid of the dead weight pretty quick (Snuka and Piper). So we got to enjoy Steamboat vs Jericho 1 on 1, which was damn impressive. Mr. Steamboat, he fans cheered and i could only approve "YOU STILL GOT IT!!!" Surprising outcome with Y2J winning the whole thing only to get a rather pointless but i guess neccessary in ring appearance by Mickey Rourke. Scaring Y2J away with a punch after he had already beaten 4 legends(incl. giving the codebreaker to Flair).

-Matt vs Jeff...not bad but not great either. The match was all Jeff but then Matt landed 2-3 good moves at the end and won. Hm, i was surprised to see Matt win, tho i doubt that this feud is over.

-JBL vs Rey...i was NOT looking forward to this match. I'm incredibly bored with Rey Rey,WWE needs to do something with him; a good storyline, change his image/attitude a bit, i don't care, but do something with him. And JBL has always been overrated imo. Why was that guy WWE champion for almost a year again? *sigh* Luckily they made another quick victory out of this one, not wasting any time. Enabling JBL to quit and let him return as Smackdown announcer now that Tazz is gone.

-Taker vs Micheals...good but not great. A bit to slow paced for my taste. I know both are some of the oldest superstars on the roster so i can't expect an ultra fast paced, high flying match. Still they took long breaks in between some moves pretty much killing the excitement for me. If it wasn't for all the counters the delivered at the end of the match it wouldn've been that memorable. I'd say it's one of Takers top 5 mania matches, not coming close to the epic showdown he had with HHH at WM 17.

-Cena vs Edge vs Show...the sleeper on the list. I didn't have any big hopes for the match. The whole love triangle thing was stupid and i feared there would be too much teaming up involved. When Vicky Guerrero rolled down the ramp i thought it couldn't get any worse. But the match turned out pretty good. All 3 athletes delivered and Vicky Guerrero aswell as Chavo were taken out in the early going keeping the intereferences at a minimum which was good. Cena winning it wasn't a big surprise. It would have either been Edge or Cena, i mean c'mon nobody really expects Show to win the title again. Cena played the role of the big hero who gets the title out of this stupid love triangle, the underdog in some way...so yeah no surprise there. I'm happy with the outcome too. Don't get all the hate on Cena, the guy is busting his ass for the company and seems really passionate about it aswell.

-TripleH vs Orton...to my the most anticipated match of the evening and the biggest dissappointment. Like i've already mentioned before; this shoulc've been a No DQ match. There's no reason not to make it No DQ, ok so Vicky Guerrero made that stupid stipulation but errrrrrrr...Vince McMahon was in the building!!! Again taking me back to WM 17 when Austin vs Rock was changed into No DQ just before the match by Vinnie Mac. I was expecting something like that, maybe throw a little Legacy in there with Vince and Shane coming out to fight them off. But no. Instead we got a rather average match which was done when HHH punted Orton in the head. I was hoping for Orton to make a comeback but no, Game Over. Making it clear that Orton can't beat TripleH. I mean srsly, HHH took the title from Orton after he won it for the first time, going on to kick the shit out of Orton in the following months. Then, back at No Mercy a while ago TripleH beats Orton for the vacated title, later that night Orton has a rematch for the title only after HHH had to fight Umaga during that same PPV; making it the only time Orton beat HHH, and only after HHH already had 2 matches that night. Afterwards it was all HHH again, keeping Orton down, taking his title and injuring him. Srsly, lame! Give the kid some credit. And i hope they stop digging out the whole Evolution crap at one point. I've heard about enough of it, let it go!
I'd say the match just didn't live up to the hype. It certainly wasn't terrible but i was expecting more. Hoping Orton could finally step out of HHH's shadow but none of that happened.
