Looks like HoN is gonna be about 30 bucks, wich is pretty much bullshit because LoL is gonna be free.

But then again HoN is a really good game and I have no idea what LoL is gonna be like. I think that HC DotA fans are gonna go with either DotA or HoN just to stay purists, but if LoL turns out a good clone, or an improved version... well HoN is not gonna sell very well.

I've been playing HoN for a while now, I'm thinking the 30 bucks is worth it if the actual DotA isn't updating anymore. But that's not the case. I like how vivid it looks and the "IN YO FACE!! BITCH" tower deny but I missed regular DoTa just because they took every update to balance out every hero.

Anyways, in DotA news, I've been playing in team style shop-to-shop matches I got to hand it to you it's no where close to pub games. I've been using support heroes for disables, my Rhasta can slaughter a Slardar in a solo lane LOL.

Oh it's been so long since I've played DotA. I started HoN with my Fyodoror account, but I sucked so much at the beginning that my KD ratio was down the drain and never getting up, so I just created another account and between them I have over 200 matches played.

I haven't had the time to examine all the heroes, but I've come to rely on Predator and Demented Shaman (avatar, lol)
I've learned them inside out and have good builds on them and with the right team it's pretty easy to rack in the onlsaught streaks.

So the first time I played LoL, I got a pretty bad taste in my mouth. It was just a bit weird and not as easy to get in to as HoN. But today after some 10 year old kid called me a noob fagget retard for the billionth time, I decided to give LoL a chance. And I liked it this time.

I figured out that you just have to focus on one thing at a time and not try to master everything at once. I played some weird hero that was kinda like a crixa/axe hybrid and once I started focusing on the skills, I started getting some kills. His ulti is pretty much the same as crixa/magmus but his first skill is a bit diffrent from theirs. Instead of targetting someone/some area with it, you activate it and move in where you want. The 2nd and 3rd skills were just axe's berserk divided in to two skills, with the exception that you can only affect one hero with the berserk.

Anyway, I'm babbling now. But LoL is a lot better than I fist gave it credit for.

Still haven't played LoL and i maybe won't cause i heard some $hit about you having to have more exp to unlock stronger heroes.I just don't like that aspect.

I haven't played dota in quite some time, only HoN these days.I have around 170 games,3 leaves but my psr is bad cause of the last few games - <1400.
But don't you just hate kids that don't want to play in games cause there is no balance. In my mind psr means very little if you're over 1300.You can play 10 games and your team can suck SO bad that you loose all 10 games and thus losing ~200 psr.You can be the best at HoN but having a bad team means you loose psr.And people take psr for actual skills. That simply annoys me.Anyone on the same page as me ?

Neither PSR or K:D ratio is an accurate assesment of someones skill level. If you like playing support or tank heroes you'r K:D is not gonna be high and in HoN pub games it's pretty much 50/50 if you're gonna win or lose, because most games end when someone nerdrages and leaves or someone feeds a pro carry.

Oh and my PSR has been below 1300 for weeks already.

Nomad i dont beleave that The Madman is SO imbalanced, but a bit overpowered - yeah
What are your other examples for imba characters ?
I think that vs Panda 1 on 1 noone has a chance - i mean for god's sake 4 disables....how can you beat that without silence ?

And yeah about those stupid n00bs that only play scout and riki and killsteal - i play bd more often than not

zephyr , scout and spirit breaker need a little balancing out to do IMO (no clue what the latest patch did though) but that just could be me.

Just played a game where by all rights my team should have lost, but our scout was so well fed that he pretty much killed the other team by himself. After a quadkill he took on Accursed alone and didn't even stop attacking when he ultied because he knew that the guy had no hope.

I agree that Panda and Rampage are pretty much invincible 1v1 if you know how to play them. But on the other hand if the other guy knows his stuff then it's another story.

I'll give you rampage buuuut zephyr
if you mean that he has to become stronger you're right :D

And yeah scout can be a pain but i truly dont know why
he has what ... a crit and silence that people dont use that often. So i wonder how people manage to get so fed up with him
but 1 on 1 if he ultis you its bad

This is why I love Magmus.

AND the new replay feature.
