 Post subject: Yay, 10Mbits!

I was testing out my network speed out of boredom today, and I found out that I had hit 10.5mbits consistent!

When I got my internet it was rated for 7-8mbits, and they were upgrading the internet lines last year, and I just realized it works now!

10mega bits = 1.25 MegaBytes
(8 bits to a byte)
Thats about lower-end Cable/DSL <3

DSL doesn't generally go that fast ("high" speeds are around 1.5 Mbps), neither does cable. A lot of companies "promise" 10Mbps, but rarely deliver (usually around 4Mbps).
ISP's don't measure in Bytes.

I hope you're able to keep those speeds once everyone else notices they're going faster.

I got like when I was living by myself about 5-10 mb/s

but that was cause i was on the highest level.
