I stopped playing for a year and a half and recently got back into it for lack of anything else to play. Gnome Warrior - Blackhand.

I play a 70 bloodelf shadow priest on Dethecus. I'm leveling a Tauren warrior though due to the lack of tanks on my server.

I haven't been playing much in the past month or so, mainly because none of the guilds I'm in are actually doing anything, and I rather dislike arenas, so I haven't been 100% focused on PvP. I'm debating on if I should continue my account when the time expires in a few weeks, or let it sit until WotLK, which looks awesome.

Did the lamer thing and rolled up a hunter for my first character. Hit 70, swapped servers, then ran through with a gnome mage for kicks.

It's so easy to level to 60 now it's silly. I'm a little burned out, so I'll probably wait until the expansion to play some more.

I used to play a gnome warrior on Hellscream (EU), but I'm just to busy for it right now so I haven't touched it for like 5 months.

I'm wondering how Wrath of the Litch King will resonate with WoW players. They get another 10 lvls to grind for, and their equipment they raided for for months gets useless AGAIN. (It turned me down when BC came out).

Still I got to say It looks preaty sweet. The new lands looks amazing. BC looked good, but it was a bit to SciFi. Northrend fits perfectly in the old world, not to mention it was where a big part of Warcraft 3 took place. Also thers lots of new PvP and PvE content.

So what do the current players think about it?

And the ones who abandoned Azeroth? Do you consider returning for WotLK? I know I'm not...

Actually since I'm just coming back (lvl 64), I've been playing with WotLK in mind since there is no doubt that I will be rolling a Death Knight. Both my warriors (one of a PVP server, one on a carebear server) are DPS tanks. I hate the prot spec, it's boring and slow. Tanking just isn't fun. But with WotLK coming out, I will be going prot spec @ 70 for raids and the rest of the time I will be spending my time farming ore and getting my blacksmithing maxed so I can make weapons/armor and have gold for my Death Knight.

I play occasionally, but I think I'm over my old addiction.

Anyway, Suramar, various Alliance characters...

I played for about a year (2005-2006) and then quit when I managed to free myself from the chains of addiction that kept me away from the good things in life.

I'm glad I made it out but I find it soooooooooooooo so sad that people are STILL playing that game.

-EDIT- I probably wrote this a little too quickly. Before I get flamed, let me say that I am not laughing at people for still playing to this day but that I truly realized the extent of how that game can be time-consuming, pointless and annoying to others after I finally quit. Believe it or not, my GPA significantly dropped the year I played WoW... :ouch:

After having played on and off since March of '05, I've kinda lost the will to even try and play WoW again. It seems that every time I try to start up a new character (in the process of neglecting my higher level ones), I get burnt out by the time I hit 20. That's not to say it's a bad game, but I think everyone eventually hits their *bleh* point.
