I know the entire forum is on the verge of breaking under the weight of all these "official" threads, but one can hardly ignore the game company that defined the genre of the adventure game for the PC.

King's Quest
Space Quest
Police Quest
Quest for Glory
Colonel's Bequest

The list goes on...and believe it or not, not all the titles have the word "quest" in them!

Post your memories here!

I personally just beat King's Quest V only literally like 2 minutes ago (thank you, DosBox!)
Image
This game was just great in the day...I mean, look at that box art! Epic!
The voice acting is a little cheesy but this is before video games started dishing out big bucks for voice actors and goddamn, Cedric the Owl is probably the whiniest character ever!

Speaking of Sierra and online games, have any of you ever played the cartoony 2Dish MMO called 'The Realm'? My whole family used to play it way back in the day, it was awesome.

Aren't we forgetting someone?

Leisure Suit Larry
Ah poor Larry, bound chasing for some tail for eternity. And dirty jokes you didn't get until older years, just classic.

Quest for Glory II: Trial by Fire
Now this one is really special for me;
It was first adventure game I really played. (granted, I played first Larry at friends house)
The game really helped me learn English faster, seeing as I was forced to look up words to be able to play, with story as constant motivation. And RPG element, was just fantastic! (also first for me then)

Conquests of the Longbow
Now this one feels almost like rarity out of Sierra games, not many I meet have ever heard of it. But what a game. I actually had to wait years before I got my hands on the manual and could finally finish the game. (Does anyone know what part I'm talking about?)

I'm actually in the middle of a retrospective series of forgotten Sierra games on HealingTouch. But I've been so damn busy to get around finishing it. If you want to check out Parts 1 thru 3, just go to HealingTouch (click on my sig) and search thru my stuff.

How many reviews do you have to do until you get to Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist?

Unfortunately, I never played this one. But hey, if you want to write up a review and enter it as one of our Outpatient writers, talk to Link! Its always great to get people to review fairly unknown games!

Hmmm...I've been juggling around some idea. I planned it to be a 5 part retrospective...I know, I'm gonna throw in Thexder somewhere in there...

No love for a comedy game that can be compared to the same caliber as Sam & Max and Day of the Tentacle?
