Fuck this game. I got it for my birthday yesterday and all it fucking does is crash and freeze to the point that I went out and got a replacement one and I just put it in like 2 min ago and its already frozen on the start up scene movie before you even get to play on a new game and crashed on a saved game Ive tried to load.

What the hell is the point in owning a game you cant even fucking play? Thats a good way to steal $67.79 from your consumers. I was very much looking forward to playing this game and I cant. Needless to say Im very pissed off to say the least!

Most people who post something negative, get their thread deleted as well.

Thats one of the glitches, your family becomes well just nothing. many other glitches cause you to restart your whole game, due to the autosave feature, that saves. Since most these glitches happen and the autosave saves. During some quests, and gambling.

Gambling is the big one. So dont do it.

i'm really wondering what's going on...everyone talking about bugs and that the game freezes
guess i'm very lucky then cause i'm currently playing through it for the 2nd time and it hasn't frozen once.

Anyway, deep story, lot of stuff to do,kinda average combat system tho and it could be a bit longer. then again, replay value is kinda big...but overall great game!

The main story, I think could be completed in 4 hours if that. It just seemed that they decided to cut the story in half, so they could charge 20 bucks for the other half at a later time. The Fable 1 story was better and actually longer, they said they'd have 100s of weapons and clothings, yet There arent that many. Free roaming my ass, its just a wider path. Where is the great one button combat that he talked about? Its button mashing no matter how you put it, there's no one button combos, you just press the button as fast as you can. The Same can be said of magic, there is no real depth, you just use time control and wait for the spell to fill up and use it. It just seems unfinished to me, I like the game, I'm not saying its bad, its just that with all these glitches and the game feeling unfinished and unpolished. I could have waited another year for them to finish this.

I just realised that Garth's voice actor is Ron Glass. Took me a while to recognise him, but it kept nagging me. Garth even looks like a young Book. Apart from the freaky eye and the glowing veins....

Well after many attempts I finally got to start a new game and only had it freeze once since I started it. I dont know why but it seems to be working fine now. It should be after all that frusteration and driving around I had to do to get a replacement copy that still has errors.

One thing I cant figure out is that I married some Gypsy woman and also married some girl named Alex in Bowerstock (I dont remember the name of the town) and bought a house and filled it with baller furniture and stuff.

At the start she is like "Lets go to bed *wink*", but for some reason it wouldnt work. Now when I go and visit her, she is there, but doesnt act like my wife. Doesnt follow me, say any wife specific stuff, just wanders off randomly when Im talking to her or trying to interact. Just like a normal townperson. Also she is never in the house I just bought her. What the hell?

Alex is a slut, I am not joking, I had no stds when I married that slut, and I after our first encounter, I still had none, and our next I had frickin 2! But you have to get the emote come back to my place which is in the bowerstone bookstore, and ya wives only basically say, dear or shit, nothing really showing they are your wife.

Oh, no, no, no. Did you think they meant hundreds of types of weapons? NOPE Peter meant 100 types of variations of the same weapons i.e. augmentations

No not 100 types, Just 100 different weapons in general, they can all be in the type included, I dont see why augments would count toward total amount of weapons. IT was rather dissapointing.

Yeah by types I meant 100 different weapons. But yes, when it was said that there was gonna be 100+ weapons it meant 100 variations of the same weapons just with different augments.

This is not as bad as the one Guy's story, he was having sex with his wife, and he got the Orgy achievement from it, and he's like WTF. After the scene ends, there's only 2 people in the room with him, His daughter and his wife. I couldnt stop laughing. XD

I know, I had targetted my kid and for the longest time the down on the D-pad was assigned to the "come back to my place" expression... didn't have the guts to try it out.... :err:

Wow,i agree the story is kinda short but 4 hours isn't realistic...let's say at least 8
Anyway,i don't think it's a valid point. Yes,the story could be longer but there are still tons of other stuff you can do: Quests, jobs, open gates, search for gargoyles, get the legendary weapons,mariage...you name it.
If you're just trying to go through the story as quick as possible you're not playing the game, you're doing a speedrun.
I think it also has great replay value due to character evolving or see how your choices take the environement in a different direction

I'm not joking, 4 hours is a good estimate, take out all the cutscenes since most of them you can skip. If you know exactly what you are doing, 4 hours. You dont even have to really spend your xp, I slaughtered bowerstone without leveling anything up. XD

THE END OF THE GAME BLOWS!!!!
:yuush:

If you have beaten it you know what Im talking about. So lame, if I had to do it
again I would just do the major story line and beat it in 8 hours....since it
freezes every two seconds, it made it that much worse. There was no
challenge, I never died...never used life potion or anything... this makes me
sad.

That doesn't sound hot at all. I'm happy that I waited with this one. I might give it chance if it hits the bargain bin, and Lionhead gets those freezing issues sorted out.
