I'm just now getting around to playing this game, and the first time I tried to play it, it froze in the first scene. Then every time I tried to restart, froze again. Doing some googling, apparently a LOT of people have had problems running this game. Anyone here experienced this? I'd like to play the game but geez.

I thought the demo was awesome, but I haven't played the full version yet.

Played through the whole game and never had a freezing issue once. The game was phenomenal. Seriously some of the most stressful moments I've EVER had in gaming, and I mean that in a good way.

I only imagine it being stressful with the Playstation move version and trying to flail in time to Jason.

I don't own it but I've played it over at my friend's house.

Didn't freeze.

Despite how awesome the Jason meme is, that was probably like the WORST demo they could've had for the game. They should've taken "The Taxidermist" DLC and made THAT the demo, since it's pretty damn amazing.

What game where you playing? Did you even bother playing beyond the first 2 or 3 chapters? Probably not because the game gets really intense.

Some people need games to be action packed right from the get go, which I don't blame them for, but if you're telling a story you can't just start right off in the action, you need to set the groundwork first. If the whole movie is the climax, then there's no climax at all.

I just thought it was boring, short, and predictable. What's wrong with that?

The game was ok, I just wish the voice acting wasn't so poor. Also, I liked the storyline in Indigo Prophecy much better :)

Nothing, I'm just surprised you feel that way considering a lot of the scenarios were pretty intense and fast paced. Unless you were playing on easy mode I guess.

See my above post about having a terrible demo.

Did you actually play the game at all or do you just enjoy the jokes? :p

Well, yeah. Watching a Let's Play pretty much pales in comparison to, y'know, actually playing a game. I mean, watching a Let's Play of Silent Hill makes it look like a non-scary piece of crap. :p

Taxidermist is shit getting real. This DLC pretty much had me having a heart attack. Starts off slow and then it's just like "SURPRISE!" It's extremely well done and covers a LOT of the variables in the game. It has about 6 different endings.

PS. Throwing a ball at a virtual wall was actually a lot more fun than it looks, lol.

Well it turns out I apparently got a crappy disc. I returned it to GameStop and though it had been 22 days since I got it and it was used, they gave me a new copy because they didn't have any used ones. I brought it home and it worked fine.

I'm already done though. Granted I played it about 8 hours Tuesday night and about 8 hours yesterday, but I really liked it. I have to agree with Link, I thought it was intense.

I'm downloading The Taxidermist DLC right now.
