Ok, so ever since PSN came back and I got my free games, my PS3 has been skipping like a dirty DVD during cut scenes in every game (on disc and downloaded) every few seconds or so... it only happens in games, not on NetFlix, not on the system menu, not on downloaded movies, only in games.... oh, and also only in cut scenes, not gameplay! WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON! I want to play LA Noire! I've looked everywhere on the web and found nothing.

If it helps, I left my PS3 on over night to download inFAMOUS and Wipeout but I keep my PS3 on a slatted box with plenty of air flow and I've left it on over night before so I don't think that's it.

Before you start, the games are not dirty.

You might want to do further tests to see if it's related to video playback period. Try some DVDs and BluRays and DLNA videos if you can.

If so, contact Sony, they're the only people that will have any further ideas.

Also, everyone knows about the if you go to the shut down option in the menu while downloading stuff it'll ask you if you want it to auto power down once the downloads are finished, right?

Nope, only games. DVDs play like a charm (I'm watching Crank right now).

EDIT: She's acting pretty odd now... freezing at the system menu when I tried fooling with the display settings. I think my PS3 might be going up to heaven soon

Nevermind guys... I fixed it.... BY RESETTING MY PS3 COMPLETELY AND LOSING AAAALLLLLLLL MY SAVE DATA!!!!!!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Should've backed that shit up on USB or something.
