Windwaker scored a lot of points for me just for originality. People complain about the formula for a zelda game being pretty much the same through each revision but wind waker was quite a bit different form the previous ones. The graphics didn't bother me but i can't say the cell shading floored me either. I definitely enjoyed the game as a whole and consider it a strong part of the zelda franchise.

I loved WindWaker, and I loved the cell shading look. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the sailing because of how long it took. I think that Phantom Hourglass did a good job of fixing this problem.

Not a Zelda fan, but isn't Zelda due for a game soon?

The original was the only reason why I liked the Zelda series:

It was the only game where I could play and not die because of a stupid enemy, I actually beat it.

But the real reason I like the Zelda series...

is this....

Wow lots of people want to see zelda naked! Anyway, yeah I have been a fan of the zelda series since OOT (as that was the was the first one I played) and I have played through them all in weird order but there is one I still must play......Link To The Past. For some reason (aside from never owning a SNES) it is the one Zelda game I haven't played and I will do that very soon!

It always seems windwaker gets talked about. I remember when I first saw it, it looked really interesting and I was neutral but the more and more shots and gameplay footage that came out I loved it more and more. I guess I wanted to see the game a bit more in motion first and I was so damn excited that I went to get it first thing in the morning. The opening cutscene seemed magical and it is possibly my favourite zelda! I loved the fact that they put him in Brawl!

I liked the art-style in Wind Waker better than the other Zelda's for some reason. Out of all the Zelda games I've played, Wind Waker was the one that was able to shift moods better than any other game. Also, Wind Waker has more nightmare fuel than any other game. *shudder*

A lot of people got extremely confused at the Water Temple because it was very large and non-linear. I believe it was the non-linearity that frustrated most people since they had to remember where they hadn't been in order to find the next key to open the doors in the center. There's also the fact that Shadow Link was there.

Yeah the Water Temple specifically was the one i was referring to, but the one in a Link to the Past was a killer as well.

Either way, water temple seems to be the two words that corrupt the soul of every Zelda fan. lol

I didn't always get why people found the water temple in OOT so hard, but having said that I was really confused by Jabu Jabu's Belly when I was a kid for some reason! I don't know why but I was really confused by it when I was younger!

I'm going to go out on a limb and hypothesize that everybody who has played the majority of the Zelda titles will have been thoroughly annoyed by at least one water temple.

In A Link to the Past, it's the damn switches, especially the first one...

In Link's Awakening... well, the whole dungeon is just a mess.

Ocarina of Time: Changing water levels, floating blocks, Dark Link...

Majora's Mask: Water wheels...

Oracle of Ages: By the time you reach Jabu-Jabu's belly, the only way to swim is to mash the D-pad. Combine that with the first two problems with Ocarina of Time's Water temple, and you get one heck of a headache.

Twilight Princess: Water wheels again, plus water slides...

I doubt many people will agree with me on all five counts, but most of you probably agree on at least one.
