So Ultimate is really good, and I love most of the new characters (only truly played with 4 of them). Out of the 2 times I played through arcade mode and a handful of online matches, Frank West is pretty amazing, along with Doctor Strange. I especially love his Eye of Amagotto, which is an orb that makes the enemy get hit 10 times upon touch. I use that as an assist to build up Frank's level. Phoenix Wright is amazing, but I need to get used to him first. And Vergil is ridiculous. Too ridiculous; especially when everyone uses him online.

Overall, it's still MvC 3. If you didn't like the original, this won't change any opinions and although it feels a lot better in terms of presentation, it's still the exact same game. And unless 12 characters would sell you a game, I wouldn't recommend paying another $40 for the same game. I probably wouldn't if I hadn't gotten a refund on my defunct copy of the original.

My only complaint is that I don't like the new character selection screen, character models, and music. It just all looks weird, and although the background with the older MvC posters is awesome, the character selection screen didn't have the cool comic book look the original had. That and most of the new character portraits look hilariously bad. I would have easily taken the original character theme and selection screen just redone with a new background.

I ALWAYS forget that Frank West is better at leveling up when you take a drink. I ALWAYS FORGET!

Although I really like Mega Man, I was fine with Zero being his replacement. He's pretty much Mega Man with a sword, which is awesome.
