Dead Space 2

The multiplayer to Dead Space 2 looks a lot like L4D2. BUT IN SPACE!

I'm very indifferent on the multiplayer so far. Is it really necessary to add it to the game? But then again like all survival horrors, once you beat it. The scares are all gone. So maybe maybe adding multiplayer can be a bit more bang for your buck?

Anywho, Dead Rising 2 is a good improvement, but I never considered that survival horror, it was more like "survival time management" to me, where the only thing that was scary was the fact you had places to go and places to be.

If anything that's not a real Silent Hill game it's SH: Homecoming! What an awful excuse for a SH game. Speaking of which, that game was given to American Developers, and look how bad they fucked up on it. He's right, it all depends on the developers and who gets it.

Oh, and Visceral has adressed many peoples concerns:
Papoutsis was able to address some of the early concerns from fans that the Dead Space 2's single-player campaign may suffer due to development time being allocated to creating multiplayer content.

"I think once people get a chance to experience the single-player game and see we didn't water down anything there to give them multiplayer, I think they're going to be happy," he added. "The criticism generally comes with the caveat of 'I don't want them to screw up single-player,' and we're not; we're focused 100 percent on that, and we've got another group focused 100 percent on multiplayer, and we're going to make sure both of those experiences are great and fun for our players."

I didn't mean to rip on The Room. I actually liked it myself and thought the story was pretty sweet. I'll even go as far to say that Walter Sullivan was probably one of the best villains of the series. I was just pointing out that the series began to change with a lot with The Room.

The Room was my favorite Silent Hill. I really loved the first and 2nd, but the room creeped me out the most. For one, yes, those fucking ghosts were the scariest shit I've ever seen. Secondly, the Room for the first half of the game was your haven, it was the sigh of relief you looked forward to while running for your life from some scary monster. Then you come back one of the times and it's different, stuff starts happening IN THE ROOM, and you realize you're not safe ANYWHERE anymore. Losing that sense of security was dreadful. Mysterious knocks on the door, peeping through the wall hole, the windows... all kinds of scary shit happened if you checked those frequently. The one where there's a knock at your door, and you look through the peephole and it's a weird twisted looking version of you made me shut the game off instantly.

Anyways, the multiplayer sounds awesome. It'll be like Left4Dead but hopefully not broken and easily exploited. They haven't released enough info for me to get fully excited yet, but it has a lot of potential!

I'm starting to notice that with just a select few games (usually good games, but not the big blockbuster Halo's, Mass Effect, etc) have been getting hard to find.

I have been scouring for Ace Combat 6 in my town. I could easily order it but I hate getting games when I can't look at the disc first.

I'm going to reserve that the next time I step foot into my local GameStop. I loved Dead Space and I'm stoked for the second one, and this is just the icing on the cake :-D

Why do I need to play it on hard? Usually I just do first runs on normal because that seems to be the best balence in terms of difficulty and I can focus more on the story and experience. Second run I usually go for hard/expert if I really enjoy the game. Is there new game plus so you keep your upgrades?
