Mass Effect The Topic *Spoilers* (Now on PS3!)

This trailer got me super pumped for Mass Effect 3 but it still isn't as good as the trailer for mass effect 2. Just gonna have to wait for another trailer. I think it would be cool to see Shepard team up with another spectre, possibly a asari spectre. So far we've only seen human and turian spectres.

Wasn't there an Asari Spectre in the Liara DLC? It's been a few months so I don't remember exactly.

Yeah, it was by far the best DLC released for ME2. Longest one too and with the best story that may actually effect outcomes in 3. Download it if you get the chance.

I'd agree with you, except it's worth the cash. I wish that Kasumi's DLC was another free Cerberus download, and maybe even that Overlord DLC too. But the Liara DLC is worth paying for so I'm not gonna complain. But it does suck that a lot of "I won't buy DLC" folks will never experience the awesomeness of that story.

I'm down for buying DLC, but Bioware's stuff has been sooo not worth it in the past.

I agree with Link, the Liara DLC is worth the $10. It's fairly long and is a great story. Overloard maybe for $5. It was good but I don't know if it's worth $10. Kasumi should have been free. She's great to have in your squad but the lack of dialogue options really didn't add to much to the game.

Yes and no. Yes I believe you can get the paid DLC if you don't have the Cerberus code but you won't be able to get any of the free ones. It's only $15 to get the Cerberus network.

Yeah, pretty much. If you want the "free" stuff you have to pay the 15 dollars. The non-free stuff you don't have to pay for. I can't imagine anyone going through the game without Zaede though. That guy was a fucking badass.

the liara story was great, and that was a great DLC over all, personally though I preferred the structure of Overlord, having to drive the hammer head to the 3 different bases etc.

I think they are both worth buying in the end though.

Yes, yes, and yes. At least the Liara DLC. If you haven't gotten the Kasumi DLC or Zaede DLC, well... it's sort of a waste since you won't have much time to use them. You can play Overlord after you beat the game, but the Liara DLC gives you a few perks that might be handy through the course of the rest of the game.
