Never played them, but I must :yuush:

Lol! They're not all that great to be honest, though the Game Gear Sonic 2 is pretty cool. You can also unlock the two Vectorman games on that compilation as well, which is sweet but kinda redundant as they put them both on the Sega Genesis Collection too. The Japanese version also has all three Streets of Rage games, but they got taken out in the western releases because they'd have bumped up the rating. You have no idea how much that pissed me off! :omg:

Wait, Game Gear? So it's not the Genesis version? Oh crap...

What could be so bad about a game that Tails is the main character?

Nah, you have to get the Sonic Mega Collection for the Genesis Sonic 2. But then you get all the others too, so it's a bargain :-D

Actually, Tails Adventure wasn't bad, kind of like a Tails RPG. Tails' Sky Patrol was weaker, mainly due to gameplay annoyances like err... not being able to hit any scenery(!), but it's still worth playing. They're kind of middle of the pack Sonic GG titles. Not as well done as Sonics 1 & 2 and Sonic Triple Trouble, but not as absolutely horrible as Sonic Labyrinth either.

The Mega Collection? Yeah, I've got the GameCube version and I've played the PS2 one as well. I prefer the GC version a bit even though it doesn't have the extra stuff. The PS2 version has some minor emulation issues, but it has some more GG games and a save state feature. Now that is really useful for Sonic Spinball which is virtually impossible without it, but it can really screw up Sonic 3, which already has a save feature.

If we're talking about just Sonic 3 on its own, then yeah I agree. But attach it to Sonic & Knuckles and I think it overshadows Sonic 2 then.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles is better than Sonic 2.

But I say Sonic 2 beats Sonic 3 by itself. Even if Sonic 3 had the better music

I see only one problem with the new game:

The Werewolf thingy...

like we havent seen that one before, Sega... (Nintendo: Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Link transforming into a wolf...)

Come on, Sega...you know better than that...
