ummm... it does include UMK3 over just MK3.

Quote:
The compilation promises to include "arcade-perfect" ports of the series' original trilogy: Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

hahaha no worries! It shall be grand! Now... which console to get it on: PS3 with the better controller layout for fighting games or 360 with the better online... kinda leaning towards PS3 as the new MK just feels so smooth with the PS3 controller.

The Krypt is a little meh. Nothing cool like the stuff from Deadly Alliance like cooking with Scorpion.

I will say though if you need some money
Spoiler
keep an eye out for green bugs in the krypt. There's a group in wach section

I tried at my buddy's house to play online but just ended up trying to finish the Challenge Tower. 40 some more to go.

Haven't picked it up yet due to my limited game budget, I went for Brink instead. But I am going to be picking up MK soon, can't wait to play Cyrax, still my favorite.

It didn't seem all that bad, at least not compared to the 360. Hope we can have a game night soon.

I finally got around to playing it my friends bought it. Went through story mode on normal I liked how the matches flowed back into the story. Also how they make you play with different characters instead of just having Liu Kang from start to finish. Shao Khan is just as hard as ever had flashbacks from MK2 while fighting him. There's so much stuff to unlock the game will have you hooked to unlock everything. Favorite character so far would be Johnny Cage.

Shao Khan was so much harder in MK3, that cheap cocksucker. Kintaro was the hardest character to face off against for me in MK2.

Sadly, I don't have steady access to my PS3 (could change soon if I fix this other one) ... so I haven't gotten through the story mode yet ... I'm in chapter 3 or so. It is pretty great ... I just wish the game let you get used to the new fighter first. Sure it has a tutorial mode ... but different characters play differently, so you can't use the same style with everybody and the story mode seems like it kinda struggles with introducing you to that.

The actual story is great so far. Cheesy and awesome.

Is Sheeva's ending a jab at Australia's rating board?

"Look at these gruesome fatalities ... that we're showing on family tv ..."

THE MOST POPULAR GAME EVER.

Man ... I forgot how tacky early 90s apparel was.

I just had a conversation with somebody over Xbox live on how Johnny Cage from Mortal Kombat might be a closet homosexual.

Thing is, I was actually being serious...

I play way too many fighing games these days xD.
