It wasn't exactly the problem I was trying to fix. It was more so the public opinion being fulfilled. A lot of folks wanted separate sub-forums (probably because they're used to how ScrewAttack does things) and so I gave 'em seperate sub-forums. As I stated in another topic, I admin very closely with the community. I gauge interest in ideas before making any changes on my own. If people DON'T want something to change, then it's not changed, but if enough people speak up, then, change occurs.
Link I would have fought pretty strenuously against this change if I knew it was being planned. However, I was happy with the status-quo (minus stickies and all) and had no reason to talk about the forums...so I didn't come into the 'forum forum' and see that things were about to get changed around.
Regardless of people liking the way Screw Attack does things...ummm...well, A) This isn't Screwattack and B) GameHeroes exists, by historical account, because of a group of people who were dissatisfied with how Screwattack did things. Admittedly these were non-forum related things but you get my parallel.
The biggest point I could make is that we don't have the army of GH's yet that would necessitate such a division of forums. Screwattack is kind of a huge group. The GH community isn't yet as big as their own aspirations.
Anyway, I'm going to consider my point made and let it drop. Just consider this part of the public opinion that is unhappy with the changes.
