I have balls for saying this, but I kind of liked the Bounto filler from Bleach. Sure it started off slow, and it lasted TWO WHOLE SEASONS, but hey, it really wasn't that bad. Had a pretty interesting villian, some good back stories and good fights.

i don't think that's considered filler, since the whole first series of FMA was entirely different from the manga...and like in the manga Ed had to be evaluated for the yearly inspection too...

to further prove my point, the type of exams were all different...

therefore i think the duel between roy and ed...is canon.
