This isn't an anime but does anyone remember Samurai Jack? That show was pretty bad ass!

Samurai Jack was one of the most repetitive shows ever produced. Every episode was style over substance. Sure, the animation looked pretty and the music was fantastic, but those were the only good things about the show, and when you boil it all down, it's a one-trick pony that gets old quickly. The characters were one-dimensional and the pacing was slower than Titanic and Lord of the Rings combined.

Don't get me wrong; I have nothing against creator Genndy Tartakovsky. He's a master of the art of animation (hell, he can make freaking GUM COMMERCIALS look good), and he continues to improve and impress every time I see his stuff grace the silver screen, but Samurai Jack had to be the lowest-grade of his work.

Hah...never knew he made those commercials. I want Nicorette nao!

eh, havent been into anime too much lately, but i loved Fullmetal Alchemist.
id check out code geass if i were you, im loving it so far.
havent gotten into bleach too much, but i have seen it; im more of a narutard anyways.
and of course, always remember the classics. pick up akira again, watch macross, outlaw star; if its fuzzy, its probably better then half the stuff out right now.
ps: Desensitized, props on mentioning berzerk, i havent watched that in awhile.

I enjoy watching Rurouni Kenshin and its anime Samurai X.
The intense emotion within two will sure to keep your summer a good one.

Don't know why nobody mentioned it but Serial Experiment Lain is one fine Anime!

The Hellsing series is ok but Ultimate follows the Manga alot closer

Theres some stupid things like the guy getting horny while being beaten to pulp buy some bad guys, but if you ignore that and the green aliens and a few more things its awesome!!

Just watch the UNCENSORED version, even if the censured one is violent anyway, there are some huge differences (like, when the main guy dies (no its not a spoiller since thats how the anime begins) if you just see blood is censured, if hes body well.. gets all over the place... you have the right one! :p
