Ok now that I got the attention of the all of you, time to make my well rounded point that got me locked at SA for some stupid reason of them taking things out of context.

FIRST! I really really REALLY do not see what the big hype about Gears of War 2 is...seriously from what I have heard and seen the coolest thing on there is Horde mode, and I would agree because in the sense the only other game I have ever played that had that in it was UT2004. I know I know the graphics are amazing! and u can chainsaw duel! heck u can even head stop and there's so much new stuff from the original, but what i want to know from them itself is what the fuck makes this game to someone like me who would want to suffer through playing the first Gears of War to play this game since im not the type to play sequel games unless i play the original first...i have missed so many .hack// games cause of that fwi. So yeah I just want an explanation as why this game is so great that everyone has great reviews about it, cause from what I see if u took the hide against objects and be able to shoot from behind them is taken out...this game would be basically like every other game, even though certain games have that feature as well i just don't see the point.

SECOND! Why the hell do people think RE5 is this amazing game already? After hearing different opions from various people this game doesn't even live up to RE4! Even the developers stated that they took this path in the game to build up on the reputaion from RE4...but seriously? That game was great and innovative for the RE series back when it was released, but releasing a game that when ur in a tight bind u can't run and shoot, u don't have a dodge button unless it's during an action scene, a useless AI partner who either wastes all her ammo or does nothing while playing single player and the fact that while fumbling around with ur items you could probably end up dying from! The only three things I can say that would make me play this game is for the Co-Op function to play with a friend, the good looking graphics and of course the story line....so if u have any other reason as to why you would want to play this game I would like to hear you're oppinion about it.

THIRD! The whole GTAIV thing with the Lost and Dammed DLC only being an xbox 360 exclussive to me is soooo fucking retarded!(excuse me for swearing but i just don't fucking get it seriously) What is the point in releasing a game for two different systems and then saying "Sucks for you guys but were not gonna give u any a chance to get this dlc for the game" Frankly I see this as a bad move by them. Now before you say anything, YES, I know that the Microsoft payed oodles and oodles of cash for this to be only for the 360...but u don't think u would of made almost the same amount of cash from letting Ps3 owners be able to get it as well? To me it's just a slap in the face to a company who helped create success and fame to your game franchise who helped you out with getting GTA3 out for people to enjoy. NOW I WILL SAY THIS, BECAUSE SOME IDIOT STATED SOMETHING AND THEN I COULDN'T RESPOND TO IT AT SA. I am not saying that because GTA3 came out on the playstation 2 and it should be a playstation exclusive! All I am saying is that you should atleast have the decency to tell you're fans on the Ps3 and even sony that u thank them for all that they did!

AND LASTLY! This might upset people but it's been bugging me for awhile, but I will say this! I am in NO WAY saying that you guys are like this im just stating my view on this. We get alot of talk in the past about people saying stuff like the PS3 has so many fanboys it's not even funny, but nowadays im starting to feel like thats switching around. Im not saying all Xbox 360 owners are fanboys but it's just starting to get really dumb. I started to notice this awhile but it just emerged a good while ago when X-play had reviewed Killzone 2 and gave it a 5 out of 5 rating. Well apparently a horde of 360 fan boys were saying how the hosts were paid to give it that rating and that u could hear it in their voice that they didn't want to give that game a rating...WHAT THE FUCK!?!?! Seriously wtf? While Ps3 fanboys could of made big huge ass scenes by saying stuff like that, u hardly ever hear about it when it involves a decent game...but how bad has it gotten for the 360 owners that before when they said to the Ps3 fanboys "Think what u want we know who is better" to going out full blown and saying "LMAO U GUYS FUCKING SUCK SO MUCH NONE OF UR GAMES DESERVE A PERFECT RATING!" I mean...I just don't even understand why they would say that Killzone 2 doesn't deserve a 5 out of 5 while a game like...*thinks of another 5 out of 5 rating game* uhhhh No More Heroes (I don't hate this game i love it i just randomly picked one) would deserve it...in my mind I do believe the games that show's like X-play give a game a perfect rating it's for a suitable reason, I understnad it's just their opinion, but stating that it doesn't deserve that rating without stating anything about the game other than it's on the Ps3 is just mind boggling.

Anyways I just needed to rant about that, if I ended up hurting any of your e-feelings im soooo terribly sorry but don't take it too freakin serious to begin with

I remember hearing that Rockstar Gave sony the chance for the dlc first, as they needed the 50 million loan for something or another, and sony refused to help them. While Microsoft Gave them the loan and in exchange got the two episodes of DLC.

So wait, you're saying that GoW2 isn't that great and then you say RE5 isn't that great because it doesn't have all these moves that GoW2 has and RE4 didn't have as well?

lmao someone else taking things out of context i never said that the things that should be in RE5 is the reason i don't like Gears of War, the only thing i said that was remotely close to that was me saying that was if u take out the hide behind objects and be able to shoot like that from gears of war out of that game it wouldn't be as amazing as everyone said it was.

Where did I ever state that RE5 should have an ability to hide behind objects to shoot? Last time i checked most shooters ur either able to hide behind objects or u have a dodge button that can only be used during an action sequence. Also im pretty sure u can run and shoot in GoW.

As for RE4 i never said anything was wrong for it. RE4 was an amazing game, but were at the age where when we make new games of sequel to old games they should have things in it that make more appealing...if not it's just doing the same thing the early Dragon Quest games did, and thats change only their story line.

Maybe people are taking your post "out of context" because it's rather messy and all over the place. All I got from your gripes about GoW is that you didn't like it and I thought you were using the cover system as one example why.

What!? Not a GoW2 fan or RE5!? BLASPHEMY! Actually I'm not very crazy about RE 5 myself but I did enjoy Gears. You just have to take these games for what they are and stop comparing it to something else.

I understand where ur getting at. I mean I will admit that the game itself is inventive and different from other shooter based games, but im just saying my oppinion why i dislike the game. I just want people to tell me why the game is as amazing at it is so i can comprehend it better and stop talking to myself about it lol

Word. Well Gears why I think is great is... well it's just fuckin' fun to play. It's not particularly inventive (the chainsaw battles aren't anything we haven't seen before) but it's nice to look at, the gameplay is solid, and it has a pretty cool story.

As for RE 5 well I can't tell you why it's great because I don't have much of an opinion on it other than I played the demo and wasn't impressed or intrigued. My biggest turn off was the controls which you pointed out already. The game playing style they were going for just makes you fumble with the controls, and I didn't think worked very well for the game. Sure RE 4 set the standard for these controls but compared to what they used to be is a much needed improvement.

That's my opinion, I am not a fanboy of the RE series so I think my opinion is legitimate and I am certainly not a hater. I just never got into any of them after RE 2 and lost interest in the series.

very true , but the argument could also be made that if you were to re read it before you posted it, you might be able to correct alot of the issues that would cause us all to have to re read it, fact is we shouldnt have to re read posts 2 or 3 times, you should be clear and concise in what you want to say so we can pick up what your laying down the first and only time we read it.

but that aside. you do have some very good points, and no game is perfect there is always going to be something that could have been better, and yea fanboys suck but thats just something your going to have to deal with when talkin about video games, I remember quite vividly the whole sega vs nintendo mario vs sonic war of the late 80s early 90s and not alot has changed since then only that now its nintendo vs microsoft vs sony, but its still just as tiresome and irritating as ever.

EDIT* as for why RE5 is great, honestly, its not "great" its actualy very mediocre, my opinion of the game went down with my 2nd playthrough, the story doesnt even start til the 4th chapter and then it is VERY uninspired,the gameplay was ok, it was fun, pretty much just the combat from RE4 with everything else taken out, so yea, RE5 was just good, not horible, not great, it was good.

Well, people should get what he types off the bat because not everyone is a English A+ student, and you should already read over it a few times to get its general meaning.

@nose: Yeah see thats what im trying to say about the game. I mean i loved RE4 in all it's glory...and putting ashley in a suit of armor is just funny as she runs around in a panic , but to me and other people the game does feel clumsy, especially if you've been playing other games that move with how you like it to move. Having to fumble with all your settings and then getting into the gameplay only to get killed when trying to heal yourself kinda gets annoying afterawhile to some people don't you think?
