Dear all.

Is there a post, explaining in more detail about the different subforums, and what they are used for? Off course - some subforums are self explanatory, but others are a bit harder.

If we don't have such a post, it would maybe be an idea to make one and put it in the Daily Bugle section. It would make it easier for newcommers (such as myself) to post in the correct forums the first time, so the moderators won't need to use so much time moving posts arround. Also it would give a good overview - the forum can be a bit overwhelming at first.
The post could be called A TGH-forum guide for newbies :)

Just a suggestion :) Keep up the good work :-)

All the best

/Sagi

All the sub-forums under The Game Heroes forum header are fairly self explanatory. Same with the ones under City of Gaming and The Batcomputer.

Hi, My Name is...
[Where you post a thread introducing yourself or welcoming others]

General Chatter and the Curse of the Missing Mummy
[This is a general sub-forum. Talk about anything that doesn't pertain to the following subjects, as they have their own sub-forums:
TGH Content
Serious discussions (like politics)
Video Games
Food
Anything artistic that you've created
The forum itself
Entertainment, such as books, movies, music and TV
Anime and comics
Forum games
Reviews
Trading stuff online
Threads which solely promote something you want everyone to visit (like a website or youtube video you made)

So, wanting to talk about cars, tattoos, houses, animals and such is fine, or maybe about your trip to England. Sports is a little vague, however. I dunno where those would go.]

Why So Serious?
[Serious business threads. You should be able to see the special rules it has if you check out the sub-forum.]

The Fantastic Forums
[It's about the forum and the forum community specifically itself. Like, maybe about how it could improve, or a certain complaint you have about them. For instance, maybe you think the forum description are too vague and want to know more about them. You'd make a thread about it here.]

The Incredible Art
[If you created anything post it here. Perhaps you wanna show off a picture you drew or a fanfiction you made about Link recovering cellphones from the future? This is the best place. Also pertains to other stuff as well, like perhaps you're in a band and you want people to know about it. Basically anything you think is creative that you personally was involved with.]

The Amazing Entertain-Ment
[Any threads about books you've read, music you've listened to, or tv shows/movies/cartoons you've seen goes here. Sports might go here too, I dunno.]

Big Science Action's Mt. Fuji Headquarters
[Specifically about Anime, Manga and comic books.]

The Walking Bread
[It's all about food.]

Challengers of the Unknown
[Previous spotlight threads or threads shedding the light about unknown comics or other forms of media are showcased here so they aren't lost in a sea of threads. You cannot make a new thread here.]

Tales From the Murderworld
[Forum games go here. Like a thread devoted to playing a game of Mafia within the forum community, or a thread where one must guess what a screenshot is of.]

The Soapbox
[Kind of self explanatory. Got an opinion on something like a video game or a movie and think it's lengthy enough to warrant it's own thread? Post it here.]

TGH: Classified
[Fairly self explanatory as well. Like the Why So Serious? sub-forum, check out the special rules it has which are displayed within itself.]

The Yellow Pages
[If you want to promote something, whether it be your own online creation or others, post it here.]

Hope that helps.

Awesome post, Sollah - It was just what I was looking for. Thanks for taking your time explaining it clearly :-D

Now there should be a fair chance that I post in the right place next time :)

May I suggest that it is copy/pasted to a pinned post in this forum, so other newcommers can easily find it as well. Or maybe just pin this thread.

Many cheers

/Sagi

The fact that you have to spell it out just goes to show how cryptic and bad some of the forum names are.

If people are too lazy/dumb to read forum descriptions that's not my fault. The only one that may be confusing would be like... the anime/comic section.
