Street Figter II was everything MK wasn't. And vice-versa. I think MK really peaked with MKII, and SF obviously with Turbo. But the real difference was originality. MKII added TONS of depth, strategy and secrets to the series. SFII Turbo added... well, some teleports and fireballs TO THE EXACT SAME...

Xbox 360 games. They're all shiny brown First Person Shooters, that are virtually identical. Sure on Halo you're in a space suit, and CoD4 is...uhm...I can't think of anything unique about it. But yeah, I see them all as the same. Although I may be being hypocritical, as I play a lot of Street Figh...

I would happily buy a Dreamcast 2, but first they would really have to get their act together. Today at Gamestop I noticed that they themselves had put out The Golden Compass. I nearly knocked down the rack in rage (it wasn't just that. They didn't have The Twin Snakes.) Generally, when I see somet...

I must say Mortal Kombat. It's a pretty decent fighter but nothing special, characters that are only trying to be cool, an average control. Average is kind of what the whole game feels like to me. I mean, the market at that time was very tough, and the awsome Street Figter II was everything MK wasn'...

I'm just going to throw this out there for one brief moment. If people want to have a meaningful/intelligent discussion about it we can start a thread: There's no such thing as a "hardcore" gamer or game. Games are meant to be casual, played for fun. The labelling of "hardcore" ...

And who would they aim for? Which group? Hardcore or the Wiish family-friendly sort of games? God.... I really hate the "hardcore" or "casual/family friendly" labelling put on games, gamers and systems... don't get me started on it... That is just what the overall feeling is all...

The question is also if Sega would be able to solve all of the problems they have had for more than ten years. And with "enemies" like Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, Sega would probably have a hard time economicly. First off, they ought to get on track again, then build some quality and rel...

I haven't played any RPG's really, but I have the feeling that japanese have this atmosphere around it with music (what would Final Fantasy be without it?) and deep plot. A lot of the game is based on a relationship and band to the charactares - both good and evil. I also sense that japanese aren't ...

It sure might be, but I just don't think it's that fun. Still, that is only me. Nah, that's totally understandable, I just don't think it's 'overhyped' in terms of the MMO market. If it was subpar, then yeah, but WoW is the MMO that all the new MMOs are trying to imitate it seems. So, they must be ...
