Snake Eater 3D Finally Gets a Release Date
At the E3 announcement of the 3DS last year it was revealed Metal Gear Sold 3: Snake Eater would be sneaking it’s way onto the system. However, no real release window was given to the stealthy classic. That is… until now.
Snake Eater 3D will hit store shelves in Japan on March 8th, 2012. No North American release date has been announced as of yet, but it’s expected to come out around the same time.
Hot off the heels of the Metal Gear Sold HD Collection which was released a few weeks ago people will FINALLY be able to take Snake on the go.
Personally, I’ve never played Snake Eater, which is strange because I have played all the other Metal Gear Solid games (including Twin Snakes). Eventually I’m going to have to try this game out to see what all the fuss is about.
Rayman 3 Coming to XBLA/PSN
Rayman: Origins released a couple of weeks ago and has been met with all kinds of industry praise for it’s classic side scroller roots, challenging difficulty and beautiful art style using the new UbiArt engine’s hand-drawn sprites and world.
Seems Ubisoft thinks we all need some more Rayman and they’ll be releasing Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc this spring on Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network.
The game will be getting an HD facelift, will run at 60 frames per second, will have improved audio, achievement/trophy support and will feature online leaderboards. No price has been given for the game yet. It’s nice to see Rayman make a triumphant return to his side-scrolling roots. Seems nowadays when people think of Rayman they think of the Raving Rabbids games and that’s just sad.
