Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Gets Delayed Again

Well what do you know; Ubisoft is delaying its newest Ghost Recon game.  Should we really be surprised?

Future Soldier, which was slated for a March release has been pushed back to May 22nd in North America and the 24th in Europe.  Also, the game’s beta which was supposed to launch this month has been pushed back to April.

Here’s a question, by the time this game actually comes out (for real that is) will anyone even care?  I’m not a fan of the Ghost Recon series, but I do know there’s a devoted fanbase out there.  If you’re a fan, are you getting sick of these constant delays?  Let me know in the comments below!

Original Killzone Coming to PSN

A few months ago PSN started listing some PS2 games to its library, one buying the cult-classic GOD HAND.  One more PS2 classic is incoming, one which was promoted as the “Halo Killer” back in the day.

The original Killzone will be available to download on PSN for $10.  The game is a straight PS2 port so if you’re expecting fancy-upscaled visuals you’re out of luck.  No news on if the game’s online multiplayer modes will be available to play, but my bet is no.

While I did enjoy the original Killzone (much more than its sequel) it never became the Halo killer it was promoted to be.  But at $10 it’s worth giving a try, especially if you enjoyed the sequels.

A Slew of Silent Hill Games Get Release Dates

Looks like March will be Silent Hill month.  Konami announced all the official release dates for their upcoming games in the much-loved survival-horror series.

Firstly, the Silent Hill HD Collection, which features upscaled-versions of Silent Hill 2 and 3, was originally going to be released this month has been pushed back to March 6th.

The newest game in the series, Silent Hill: Downpour is set to be released March 13th while the Playstation Vita exclusive Silent Hill: Book of Memories will be out on the 27th.

With the addition of these games it’s looking like March is going to be jam-packed with new game releases.  Add these games to Ninja Gaiden III, Max Payne 3 and Mass Effect 3, Spring is shaping up to be a fantastic month for gaming.
