New Transformers Game Coming from High Moon Studios
The November cover of Game Informer reveals High Moon’s follow up to Transformers: War for Cybertron (the best Transformers game ever made by the way) will be getting a sequel in fall 2012 titled Fall of Cybertron.
In a press release provided by the game’s publisher, Activision, Fall of Cybertron will take players through the darkest hours of the civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons, which will lead to their eventual exodus from their home planet of Cybertron.
That’s all well in good, but if you look at the featured image above this article you will notice something way more important: A robotic Tyrannosaurus Rex. Transformers geeks out there will know this is Grimlock, leader of the Dinobots. This is…how can I say this…. AWESOME!!!!
More information will be released about Fall for Cybertron in the upcoming issue of Game Informer, but just the inclusion of Grimlock has me drooling already. Hopefully they’ll announce some more Dinobots for the game (I want Slag!) or some other awesome throwback characters like the Insecticons! Yes, I know way too much about Transformers and I’m way too excited for this game.

Infinity Blade II Coming This Year
Epic Games and developer Chair Entertainment announced Infinity Blade II at Apple’s iPhone 4S keynote last week.
The game will be available for download December 1st for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Pricing details haven’t been released.
The follow up to the visually-stunning medieval action game for iOS is to feature new fighting styles and weapon classes with deep role-playing elements. Also, save files and game profiles can be used on multiple Apple devices using the iCloud feature.
Chair also says the game will have social element to it and will introduce “new online features.” Not much information was given on these features beyond a mode titled Clash Mob which will have players go through “massive social challenges to unlock weapons and exclusive items.”
Good to see what is most likely the most beautiful iOS game get a sequel, but I have a more important question for Epic and Chair: When are we going to get Shadow Complex 2?

Hitman: Absolution Going Hardcore
With Hitman: Absolution on the way it seems the game’s developers still have series veterans in mind. The game will include a Hardcore mode, which will focus primarily on the series stealth roots as well as be punishingly difficult.
What will be the reward for playing through what is sure to be painfully difficult mode? Achievement points or in game trophies depending on your platform of choice…yay?
“We will get into more details at a later point, but obviously it’s linked to the playing style,” said the game’s producer Hakan Abrak in an interview with Eurogamer.
“It’s more pacify your enemies, be undetected, maybe solve the challenges in a smarter way. That will probably give you a stealth assassin achievement.”
I do enjoy a good stealth game and I have enjoyed the Hitman series in the past (although it’s been a very long time since I’ve played one). I do remember at times it being punishingly difficult on higher difficulties so I guess it’s good to see the series will stick to its roots in the upcoming sequel.
